One way to create a creative Unique Selling Proposition is to address what customers don’t like. For example, here is an advertisement ” ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS” No other plumber makes you this bold guarantee:
“My Plumber Will Smell Good and Show Up On Time Or I Will Pay You!”.
You could also offer a “Customer Bill of Rights” This is a list of consumer statements letting the customer know what types of standards you have that will satisfy the customer. What are your “Customer Bill of Rights” Can you come up with at least four statements that would WOW the customer?

- You deserve a technician that is knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant
- You deserve full satisfaction with our products or service or I will offer you a discount or free service.
What are your “Customer Bill Of Rights” Put together such message and watch your customer’s start referring business to you and your client attraction will start to grow. Use it as a direct mail piece or put it on your website.
